As requested some thoughts and ideas for the moms out there. Episiotomies, tearing, hemorrhaging, epidurals, catheter during labors, panic of baby not breathing once it's out, panic of baby being stuck, panic of not being a good enough mom, panic of rolling on your newborn cause your so tired, body not bouncing back to normal like the other mom that just had a baby....we all have our "story" of our birthing experience and both of mine left me traumatized. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. My kids are my whole life, they come first and always will. Having a baby is emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. I have yet to meet a mom who isn't sore after giving birth, to me it's the body's way of saying " good job momma, you earned your piece of heaven". Ways to ease some pain are hydrosols, which other products can be added to those to help ease some other pains depending on what happened. A body salve can be made for certain spots but at the right dilutions. You NEVER want to add straight essential oils to your private areas. Comfrey is very soothing and healing if there is an herbalist you trust and is willing to make you a tincture/poultice of some sort. For baby blues I would recommend an inhaler. Babies shouldn't be around essential oils that young and inhalers are wonderful for moms to keep in the diaper bag or pocket. The past few months my knees have had a mind of their own so I worked with @rom.fit on some stuff and today i had an amazing squat session! I worked up to one heavy single that didn't feel too heavy. Love those sessions best!
Notes so I can masta myself cuz I suck at note taking .......πŸ˜‰Weights at 152. Had a loading day Friday and this is Sunday. Calories up all week due to monthly cravings. Used red band around knees till bout 235. Friday session was working on squat form at 225 for a total of 12 with a light deadlift session. Feeling wrecked at the beginning of the week so I was on a Deload. Last weeks deadlift session at our new location. I'm thinking I'll listen to my body and take a few days off. Meanwhile, I'm gonna research a few intermediate powerlifting programs. I think I'm finally done roaming around. My first year I had such amazing progress just using the good ol reliable 5x5.
