When people see me traveling, they often say wow, you have such a fun job! Do I? Yes. But traveling for work is rarely play, and hardly as glamorous as it sounds - ESPECIALLY when you’re the coordinator! (Shoutout to all my study abroad peeps!) Just like in my everyday life, I get so focused on the things I need to do and making sure everything works the way it’s planned that I forget to let myself enjoy the things I NEED and have to choose to intentionally pay attention to the things around me. So while our work in Tel Aviv was SUPER successful, I also made a point of soaking up all the sunshine and beautiful things I could, and letting my soul be fed by some of my favourite things - iced coffee, ancient ruins, the colour turquoise, flowering trees, street art, and the Mediterranean Sea.
