***** Imagine *****
Together we went outside and over to Steve. Standing in front of his door, I rang the bell. It didn't take long for Steve to come. I let go of Justin's hand and made a step forward to give Steve a welcome hug. Justin's gaze was burning in my back. "Hey Steve. I'm glad this was possible." Steve looked happy. "Me too." Justin cleared his throat and I stepped back again. "So, Steve, this is Justin. Justin, this is Steve." They stared at each other for a second before they shook hands. "It's an honor to meet you. I've got a little goodie for you." He handed Steve the brown bag. Steve looked inside and smiled. "Thanks, that's great. And I'm also very pleased to meet you. Wow, I've never met any celebrity ever before. And now one is going to walk straight into my home." I couldn't tell what the undertone in Steve's voice was about. "Let's go inside." I somehow felt uncomfortable, although two of my favourite persons were with me. "Good idea, Mary. Could you grab some drinks in the kitchen? I'm going to show Justin the cinema, alright?" I nodded. We've been friends for very long and we were neighbours also. I knew his home like my own. In the kitchen I grabbed a water and a coke. After that I went downstairs. Without wanting to, I heard Steve and Justin talk. The conversation I overheard was... interesting. "So, this is your dad's hobby, huh?" Justin asked. "Yes. But because he has such a huge thing for him, I don't really like watching movies." That's right. Steve wasn't really into movies. "Then why are you doing this?" Good question though. "You're really asking? For Mary of course." That was heartwarming. "I could have thought of that myself." Justin sounded quite resignated. "And you? What do you want from Mary?" I stiffened when Steve said that. On the one hand I didn't want them to talk like that, because it was obviously no happy convo, but on the other hand I wanted to hear Justin's answer. Hoping that the lord would forgive me, I waited another moment to hear his response. "Well, she's not like any girl I've ever met. All I want is to make her happy." Goosebumps went straight over my back and I was on the verge of crying.
