“Mommy and Son” date night was a success 👑✨💫
I’ve been doing our special dates for a while now but it wasn’t until recently that I decided to use our date night as a learning opportunity for my Ayden-Miles. (I’m always looking for new ways to instill foundational values in my Ayden).
So I made the reservation under Ayden’s name. Then I explained to him to that during our mommy and son date night he is required to open my door, walk me to the table, order for us both, and pay the bill.
Ayden immediately said, “mommy, what will happen if I forget?” I assured him that I would help if needed. Needless to say, my baby did an amazing job. No help needed.
Our server Stephanie complimented Ayden after he ordered my favorite drink and favorite entree. She smiled at him and said, “Wow. How gentlemen of you.” He smiled back and said, “Thank you.” She was so impressed with Ayden’s table manners and confidence. It was a proud mommy moment.
I wonder what activities other parents are doing with their young kings? Mothers (and Fathers) Let’s share ideas. Men, what are things you wished you were taught as a child or young man???? I would love to know🔑🔑 🔑
