@Babipur is a local (to me) ethical and sustainable shop for childrens clothes, toys & nappies, household products, cleaning and personal care items! A one stop shop for most of your needs!
Their customer service is second to none and even the daftest of requests are taken seriously to meet the customers needs & desires!
Babi pur's 'hangout' (Facebook group) opened my eyes to all the small changes I could make to massively reduce our unpractical & environmentally detrimental plastic "consumption" and how to go about making those changes without stress or strain, a stark example of this is the content of the annual christmas shoe boxes we pack up, the first photo from this year shows @Lankakade dinosaur set & spinning top @wasserneutral
Hydrophil bamboo toothbrush @grimmswoodentoys colouring book, @namasteuk wooden pencils, @lavera_naturkosmetik toothpaste and a couple (three actually) of non BP things. The second photo shows boxes from 2016 full of consumerism and sweat shop products, which will undoubtedly sit in our earth not rotting away and poluting our seas for hundreds of thousands of years to come.
Buying ethically made and sustainable products meant that I could only afford to make one box this year, but I'm okay with that because on the flip side of the coin the beaitiful products in that box have come from fair trade and ethical factories, which pay their workers a respectable living wage. Buying from babi pur means that we promote a fair and equal world, with products which are beautifully crafted products and are earth friendly and it means the people who made them can afford to put dinner on their tables for thier families. And best of all, it's all researched and vetted before we buy, so there's no leg work to do, just browse, click and buy! 😉
