Whew.. It has been a long time (too long) since I have worked out last! If I’m being honest, I haven’t been serious about working out since before Arianna was born.
Somehow between Arianna and Levi I managed to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but the subsequent pregnancy weight loss - is no joke. Couple that with severe stress, anxiety and some depression, with all the things that have happened since Levi was born, and I’m still 25lbs over weight.
I’ve whined and complained about it, but I need to DO something about it. I’m not waiting for the new year. I’m not waiting for the right time in the day to get the workout in - because with 2 kids, let’s face it there is no “right time.”
I may have been in great shape before my kids, but that doesn’t maintain itself. This workout was tough, and I had to modify a lot! But it felt great to wake up early, work out and S W E A T, right in my living room while my kids were asleep.
I’m striving to get back in shape, to get my energy back, to be a rolemodel for my children, and a better wife to my husband. I want to share my journey, and put myself out there, because I want to be held accountable, and I want to reach my goals for a happier and healthier lifestyle.
