Automatic for the People was released on October 5, 1992 and is celebrating it’s 25th year. Upon release, it reached number one in the UK, number two on the US albums chart and yielded six singles (including "Drive", "Man on the Moon", and "Everybody Hurts"). The album has sold 18 million copies worldwide and has been considered by band members, Peter Buck and Mike Mills to be the band's best album.
