..okay so in a year clearly I discovered tan AND hip thrusts 👻🤩 I train my entire body, 5/6 days a week, I love training, it’s my favourite escape and happy place, enjoy your time working on yourself. If you have an aesthetic goal such as “bigger glutes” or “bigger biceps”, like dramatically, then I suggest training that muscle proportionally more than other muscles 🤷‍♀️ I try to have 3 lower body days (sometimes 2), and I split them into quad focused, hamstring focused and ~full leg/compound~ if I have a 3rd day, all with glute isolated exercises mixed in. My fav glute targeting exercises? Hip thrusts, sumo deadlifts, deadlift variations, split squats... squats are really not ~the~ ‘booty building’ staple exercise. Also, food is life. I’m finallyyyyy consistent and getting to grips with my macros / calories so I’m not in an accidental deficit all like I was.

Gym gifted me this shirt back in May but right away I knew the fit would be too tight. It’s a unisex size small so besides it being super long, I didn’t feel comfortable wearing it. It was pretty tight on my upper body & the bottom just hugged all the wrong spots. I figured eh, another goal I can work towards.
WELLLL... here I am 🙌🏼 is wearing a shirt from your gym kinda cheesy? Eh, maybe. But is fitting into a shirt that was too small even though the scale BARLEY started heading down awesome? HELL YEA.
I’m tellin ya.. even tho I got some scale number to beat, LOSING ACUTAL INCHES > scale weight.

To TRULY lose weight fast you must be committed to your goals and consistent with making realistic changes that are reflective of your lifestyle. This approach may appear slower than starving yourself & cutting out multiple food groups, but it is actually the quickest way. ⠀

Over the past 2 years I have lost 22 pounds. There were times I wish it would happen faster but then I would remind myself that the weight I’ve lost is off for good. Losing it quicker would have meant I would have had to make serious sacrifices and I know I wouldn’t have been able to sustain it. ⠀

Every now and again you may get a little impatient and get tempted to follow a crazy crash diet, but trust that if you’re going about your weight loss in a healthy way (listening to your hunger cues, eating the right types of food for fuel and nourishment, exercising regularly) then eventually the results will come & they will stay. ⠀

Tricep pushups are always a challenge esp after a killer chest/tris weight training workout. I don’t want to skip them but it’s really hard to do when your muscles are exhausted and you have to lift all your body weight.
So I saw this modification move by Chalene Johnson on how to get better and progress with them. Can I tell you that doing this, I still felt the burn. I’m going to keep doing this until my form gets better and I get stronger.
