Hey, if you want to finally reveal your abs what should you do?⠀
➖⠀
You see, abs are not built in the kitchen... they're built in the gym and REVEALED in the kitchen. Meaning, you need to achieve two things to show your abs:⠀
➖⠀
1⃣ Build some ab muscles⠀
2⃣ Get to a low enough body fat percentage.⠀
➖⠀
Number 1 is accomplished not by doing hundreds of crunches and sit-ups, but by performing heavy coumpound movements. In other words, you should train to build overall muscle on your entire body and your abs will get bigger in the process. Then, you can add some direct ab training to make them POP out faster, but that should only represent 20% of your efforts otherwise you're waisting your time. Abs should be trained in isolation like biceps or triceps: you don't have a BICEPS DAY. Add a couple ab exercises to your lifting routine and do them 2-3 times/week.⠀

Number 2 is accomplished by DIETING. If you want to reveal your abs, you need to get rid of the fat layer that is covering them (your belly fat). And to do that, you need to stay in a caloric deficit long enough, because that fat is usually the last to go. The hard part is not being a deficit, it's staying there long enough without hitting a weight loss plateau.⠀

When you combine these 2 big elements, I promise your abs will end up showing.⠀
