I hope everyone is feeling good this Monday morning and ready to seize the day 💁🏽‍♀️.

So I know a lot of people including some of my clients are working hard at the minute to lose some weight or tone for Christmas. I don’t like to use the word Diet as what jumps into most people’s minds including my own is that of depriving or scarcity. When you are being more mindful about food try to operate from an abundance mindset. Try to see no foods as off limits but rather in moderation. If you can remove feelings of deprivation and give yourself permission to eat what you enjoy in moderation. If you enjoy something you are more likely to stick to it am I right? This I find stops the mentality that you have to eat everything leading to overeating (when your not even hungry) as you think the next day it’s back to eating boring bland foods.

Also ask yourself why are you eating a particular meal/food? Are you eating because you are craving something specific? Are you craving salt, sugar or carbs? Are you eating because you are bored, lonely, sad or angry? Are you eating to fuel up for a workout? It's important to pinpoint why you are eating because doing so helps you identify issues with emotional eating. . I know with myself if I’m feeling a bit crap I can turn to sugar for that fix! .. The idea here is to get to a place where you are eating only to fuel your body or satisfy physical hunger. *disclaimer this is a pic from a few weeks ago I ain’t this lean now 😁*

Insyallah dalam berdiet, kita lebih focus kepada makanan yg fresh kan, dan bukannya makanan yg berproses, atau makanan segera yg tak baik utk kesihatan.

So lepas ni, yang tengah berdiet tuh boleh masak banyak dan simpan, boleh makan esok2 hari lagi.. so tak ada la membazir nak buang. Tapi perlu tahu juga, ada sesetengah makanan yg cepat basi. tapi yg penting yg cepat basi tuh bukan masakan atau cara penyediaan makanan yg sihat. 😉👌🏻
