How do we compare ourselves to others?
I would, of course, say I wasn't skinny enough because all my friends had better bodies than I did when I was growing up. But i also believed I couldn't change it, our bodies were just our bodies, only fat people had a chance, not someone in between like me.
Later it was about me not being taller or fairer or having boys like me.
I was literally always looking at reasons why I wasn't as good as them.
Sometimes I would change little things like how I responded to things, how I carried my school bag, what I would choose to eat, to make myself feel better but it never really made me happier.
Can you relate at all?
So I wrote a little blog post about not trying to live like anyone else does.
Just be you. Just do you.
