IT'S FINALLY BLOOMING!!!
Also called black persimmon, chocolate fruit, chocolate pudding fruit, Chocolat persimmon, and Zaptoe Negro.
It is native to Central America and Mexico and it belongs to the persimmon genus. They have both male and female flowers the fruits are about 2 to 6 inches.with furrowed trunk to 30 in (75 cm) in diameter, and black bark. Several different websites say that they are slow Growers so I guess we will find out as to how slow is really slow. It's great because they're supposed to be Evergreen so in the event that some of my trees lose their leaves this will be one of the ones that will stay green throughout the year. 🔆 depending on the zone you are it should get full to part sun.
💦 it takes quite a bit of water especially mine right now even though it's in a pot I find that it does take much water
↕80 ft (25 m) in height
↔ substantially large trunk
❄ it can tolerate cold up to 28°F I looked up a few different ones and it also says that it could be frost sensitive depending on your location so just be mindful that if it goes below and hit around 30 degrees you might want to cover it. If you're going to try and keep it in a container like I will I think I might actually bring it inside for an overnight.

● Harvest Dec-Feb. Then again Jun-Aug. The fruit changes from a shiny green to a dull green when ready.
