132/365: Yes, this is a post about defining things and words as one of my favorite things is comparing how people see things differently. To me, it means openess but not total openess to everyone. (Side note: this project is not about me being vulnerable in any way, I just like to share.) I would say it's a form of intimacy between people too especially if there's something shared between you and that person as you learn more about them by them being vulnerable too. I like vulnerability too as it really is where the "magic" happens in relationships.
Today's album, "Tribute To" by Jim James, for me, is a very intimate and vulnerable sounding album. He recorded it immediately after hearing George Harrison had passed and it was just him, guitar, banjo, and a piano. Death is, to me, a very big way to feel vulnerable. It is so difficult to experience that emptiness alone.
