The rain season is literally days away here in Gambia. I didn't think I would get the opportunity to fully plan out a Milky Way trip again due to the constant rains effecting everything, so last night I decided to make a quick decision and run with it. When I got out to the location I was shooting, I was a bit frustrated with the amount of clouds. The light pollution was much worse due to them, and I was basically shooting between the gaps of the clouds and trying to squeeze in shots while I could. After about 2 hours the clouds broke a bit, and I found this awesome wind mill in the distance. I set out on the mission to get close to it, and somehow I was able to make my way right up to it. I didn't have long to shoot but I was able to get a few good shots to work with.
I was happy with the original exposure but with this I wanted to try something a bit different. I see everyone constantly shooting the milky way, but I don't see people changing it up much. Here's what I created last night.
Started shot at 28mm and ended at 17mm
