Milky Way over Tenggol Island.
Photographing the night sky is very challenging and the result is so unpredictable.
I was out to shoot the milky way at around 10 pm, choosing the darkest spot I can find which is at the far end of the island. The process was long and tedious... Long exposure is seriously a lot of work. 3 hours of shooting time only to get about 300 frames. All the while hiding behind a big boulder, fighting the mosquitoes and sand flies. The result? 10 seconds long time lapse video and a bunch of so-so pictures. And of course, bite mark all over my legs. Dem yuh sand flies!! That things you do for love. I hate love. 😒
