For those of you who are just starting out with working towards eating healthier.... my number one piece of advice would be to start by tracking your current food intake for a week. 📱📝This will give you a true snapshot of your current eating habits. From there you can evaluate what is working, what isn’t, and what you can improve upon. I personally use the free app version of @myfitnesspal .
You are also able to see a breakdown of nutrients for your day so you know how close you may or may not be getting to your recommended amounts. It’s hard to work on improving your habits if you don’t know where you are starting.
Typically just being more conscious of what you are eating will help you to start making healthier choices when the opportunity comes. ✅
