Today has been... Just wow... Lunch was at a small village in the Peruvian highlands that is completely self sustaining. All organic ingredients and prepared in the same way they've prepared it for generations. We started off with a simple soul of potatoes, fava beans, peas and quinoa. This soup was so good I couldn't stop myself from having seconds... Then thirds. There was a delicious green sauce that I couldn't quite find out what was in it, served along with fresh bread as well. The main dish was a vegitable stew, with a bunch of the same ingredients and chicken. Served with some super addictive corn bread and leek fritters that I was able to get the recipe for.
