**INTRODUCING OUR 2017 FEMALE SPONSORED ATHLETE** Name: Shelley Scott (@shell__scott)
Age: 29
Sport: AFLW & VFL

Shelley has been involved in sport in the Colac region her entire life. She has developed a well-respected name for her sporting achievements; over the past 10 years in netball, and more recently football.
She has made history with her footy, and is currently assisting with the establishment and promotion to start a youth girls football team in Colac; to compete in Geelong.

She currently plays in the AFLW for Melbourne Football Club (#12 ), and when the season closes in April, will play for the VU Western Spurs in the VFL Women’s Comp (May-October). Her week includes:
• Training in Melbourne (x2)
• Gym Sessions (x4)
• Game Day
• Recovery Sessions
• And running her farm!! “My story in becoming an AFLW player is one of passion and commitment; travelling around 12 hours each week to training and games, whilst still running my own farming business in Gerangamete. I hope to inspire others from regional and rural areas from all over Australia to embrace the challenges they face to pursue their dreams.” Shelley is a valued asset to the Revolution team; her tenacity and leadership is inspiring. We look forward to assisting in her endeavours, and are pleased to be working with such a forward-thinking and skilled, young woman!
