โœจbanana, blueberry, water - people often think this lifestyle takes a lot of will power. Sure, in the beginning. But once you FEEL what this food can do after the initial detox it doesn't take hardly any will power. It's simply a desire to feel my best physically, emotionally and spiritually all the time. And knowing this is the only way to get truly find that optimal existence on all levels. I would say if you are first starting out, it is all about will power, but after the first few weeks or even months, everything that requires will power (cravings or social situations) melts away. It really does get super easy and more than that your body responds in such a "magical" way that eventually you don't desire eating any other way. The longer I eat this way, the more certain I am that this is the way to freedom from any dis-ease in the physical, emotional and spiritual faculties of ourselves. I look at the world around me and see so much of the problems we have could be solved with this way of eating. Of course, I don't think the world will ever go fruitarian, humans aren't ready. But seeing that the vegan diet is the fastest growing "diet" today gives me hope. I can still dream of a future in which people stop numbing themselves with mindless entertainment and start sharing positive experiences with each other free of toxic foods, drinks and substances so we can all feel the incredible VIBRANCY of that life force energy. Today is my last day here training at amanpuri for now. It's been a great experience and opportunity to share and learn. To finish up I've been really wanting to experiment with the plant based pizza concept. Having an expert @mrthechef with pizza at hand I took the chance to learn more about the art of pizza dough. Using a sourdough mother I have been looking after for 10 years now we had some time in the kitchen to work a new dough recipe. Thin and crispy finish with flavourful notes from the ancient sourdough mother. I have always loved pizza and I tend to get carried away with to many ingredients so really today was a test of hopefully more time really develop this concept further with @aman and @amanpuri everything is completely vegan plant based ingredients. We used macadamia ricotta, smoked cashew cheese spread, almond sumac feta cheese. Adore this baby watermelon from the farmer's market. Best I've ever had, like it's rose syrup infused. Never before have I found myself scraping the sides of the melon - the sweetness & flavor are evenly distributed through the flesh, right up to the rind. The pool of leftover water tastes like pure (variety?). Savoring it though because the other 3 I cracked open were white inside ๐Ÿ˜ถ

Fritata served with avocado, asparagus, a selection of @thehappypear sprouted beans and @nutritionwithclare sprouted mung beans and chickpeas, all washed down with @nutritionwithclare ginger and lemon kombucha. In the Fritata is red onion, potato, mushrooms, smoked salmon, cherry tomatoes. There's gotta be pretty much #10aday veg in there.

prebiotics (food for the good gut microbes) in red onion and asparagus,
Probiotics (good gut bacteria to add to resident population already in the gut, helping to crowd out the bad fellas!) in the Kombucha
Omega 3 and good quality saturated fats in avocado, salmon and eggs

I sautรฉed brusslesprouts, broccoli and sliced carrots in garlic, olive oil and coconut Anubis for about 10-15 minutes, adding kale last for a quick steam! I topped with hemp black pepper + hemp seeds. Finished it off with a side of leftover diced eggplant + onion and a side of pickled sliced beets for that extra boost for gut health. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’œ
