I had a chance to watch this performance before it disappeared from my timeshift on Nico Nico, it did not disappoint. 😁
My thoughts/commentary on the concert (maybe nobody cares what I think but I feel like giving a review of it.) "Ooh pretty.'' (Said numerous times while watching) The lighting was gorgeous especially when they played silver sun they had a disco ball to add to the nice blue lights. "Wow." Pretty much every time Shinchi would ad lib with his guitar during a song I was floored. "Lol what the the fudge are they doing?
Though I'd seen something like it before I had the same reaction to Taku and Hidekazu doing their hilariously weird sensual dance with each other. "Is that a dragon or a koi fish tatoo? What is that?" Maybe it's my adhd but after Taku took his jacket off I kept focusing on his tatoos trying to figure out what the cool designs on his arms were. I think it's a dragon? "Takanori sings!?" At one point when the camera panned over to him I saw him singing into the microphone along with Shinchi for what I think was the chorus for prisoners music. Huh I guess in addition to being a legend on the drums he can write lyrics and sing. Wow such talent.
And lastly because this is starting to look like a novel (sorry!) I thought the deliverance of the songs was very good. Slowing down the tempo of the song moving in slow motion just to sing "no reason to rush." Was really awesome. Also starting the song isolation at a relaxed pace in acapella and then having all the instruments come in was super cool.
Overall great performance! 👍
