🏮Please feel free to share this post to share the love and awareness 🏮
Do you guys remember that project I was talking to you about? Here it is (and already on my Etsy -- please continue reading 👏🏻)! These are GITD lanterns 🏮🏮🏮that I made in honor and inspiration of Light the Night, a walk hosted by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 💉❣️. This is the FIRST time I am raising funds for a cause by incorporating my crafts and creations to fundraise. I do try to keep my private life and "art life" separate, but the dedication that my program has towards this cause and organization is beyond words. You can read more in the second section of this post below. Any of my Etsy listings that say LLS FUNDRAISING will have 100% of the profits made be donated toward the LLS. I will make another post when the Light the Night Walk is closer (it's on October 5th) so you can see me pooling your donations and submitting it to my class's LLS donation page. I do have a personal donations page if you wish to donate directly instead. Any donation from $1 to $100 is more than appreciated. I had a really kind friend who has already donated! DM me if you would like to donate directly instead of click on the link in my bio, which will lead you to visit my Etsy OR my personal LLS fundraising page.
"Light the Night Walk is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's walk to build awareness of blood cancers as well as raise money for research and support of patients and their families." My graduate class and I are really proud to be supporting and giving to this Society and my program has been in participation with LLS for years and continues to see the progress that LLS makes in blood cancer research. In 2015, that year's class raised $11,000 toward LLS. In 2016, that year's class raised $20,000. This year, our graduate class hopes to raise $25,000. I hope you will join in raising the funds finding cures and treatments for cancer, specifically blood cancers. Thanks for reading 🙂
