So, making aesthetics actually calms me down when I'm having anxiety. That might be odd, but I find it soothing because it's creative and you have to put some thought into the meaning of what you're doing. If I can't go on a walk or do something like bake, I like making these. This is personal aesthetic I made for myself in the regency period. I just found some pictures I though reflected me and the time period. Tea and books of course, but I also know I'd enjoy arranging flowers and writing letters. I could also see myself getting up early to watch the sunrise in the field or having a picnic. I don't know how much I'd enjoy the balls of the time, but I know I'd want to go to one once in awhile, I've always wanted to learn ballroom dancing (plus, hey I might meet my own Austen man). I've also always had a fascination with pirates and ships, so given the popularity of ships during the regency period, I think I'd be fascinated with them and with travel!
