Super long week so decided to bring back Dance Fridays. Lol I’ve lost a step...enjoy. #dancefridays #masks #maskoff #halloween #dance #friday #litcity

Incredible reading by Terrance Hayes last night. I'd already heard him read his American Sonnets for My Past and Future Assassin back in February, but they've only gotten better. He said something that is. Wen trying to articulate to my students just that morning: how we can experience a poem like it's a Rothko or Pollack painting or a piece by Chopin. We don't have to understand every little thing. ✨(And if you heard he was nominated for People Mag's Sexiest Man Alive and you're wondering if he's the most handsome poet in America, well, yes. Yes he is.) πŸ’«
