I am SO stoked to kick off a new workout routine today...one that is going to fit my life! Only 4 days a week and under 45mins long each! SO excited but my belly did not cooperate this last week prepping...😢

Stress got the worst of me and I ended up needing medications to help clear my stomach...we will just say from 1am to 3am we're not in my favor last night😫
.
So, in listening to my body, I will do my first workout later today! We MUST listen to our bodies! We only have one! .

Switching it up and starting off the week with this gorgeous smoothie bowl. Smoothie is made from: frozen fruit, @kitehillfoods pineapple yogurt (dairy-free), and coconut milk. Topped with paleo granola, unsweetened coconut flakes + organic strawberries and raspberries. 🍓 Happy Monday, friends!

It’s been a while since I practiced heart openers. When I found out about my herniated disc I got so scared that I avoided them completely for quite 2 months. Then when I went to see the physiatrist last week he told me something that got into me “ don’t let this affect you more that it should” 🙏🏼
He was right. I know my body and I know what I should not do, but I also know what I can do and I should not fear that.
So today I finally did some heart openers really focusing on my chest ( my herniated disc in the the lumbar area) and it felt so good. 🙏🏼❤️ #listentoyourbody

Croissants are life🤩I’ve tried the almond one and the pecan one so far and they r absolutely legit. They are on my 10k calorie challenge list now🙌🏽

Listen to your body and eat food that feed your soul! I felt like a Buddha bowl in winter just wasn’t my thing, so I swapped it out for Friday nights dinner ~ Chilli Turkey Pasta! I also upped the protein by adding more turkey and pulse pasta, a delicious high protein substitute for usual pasta, and it’s gluten free! 🏃🏽‍♀️

Sorry I haven’t posted much today lovelies, I went to work and when I got home I just wanted to lay in bed and ended up sleeping for four hours.

The one thing I always listen to when it comes to my body is sleep.. if I’m sleepy then I will sleep. There’s a huge difference between tired and sleepy. I can push through tired but when sleep hits, the only solution is sleep.

TOMORROW, I AM GOING TO INDIA

I have kept a little quiet about this adventure because it doesn't really feel real, I can't imagine what it is going to be like and I can't believe I am actually going.

So this isn't a holiday in a traditional sense, it is a journey to heal and nourish my body and soul. I am staying at a wellness retreat who offer nearly every natural treatment you can imagine drawing on ayurveda, chinese medicine, tibetan healing, yoga etc.
As you may know, I have got as far as I can with treatment here in the UK both NHS and private. They just can't/won't help me any more.

After being full of cold all weekend 😪🤧 I listened to my body which said eat what you want and rest, so I did just that! My body is definitely thanking me for it, I feel so much better than Thursday/Friday!! My average weight went slightly up this week by 0.16kg...considering I ate a dominos and two Chinese take aways, a whole share bag of kettle chips and a big bar of fruit and nut dairy milk over the weekend I think that's to be expected 😂🐽 I think I've probably got off lightly really 😂

Current weight today is 73.6kg which is still less than it was last Monday (74.9kg) and I'm sure it'll continue to drop through this week as long as I behave myself and don't over indulge.
Back to intermittent fasting mon-fri, 16:8, prioritising protein and greens, low carb.
Actually super excited to see what average weight I get this week and to get myself back to the gym! Relieved to be feeling better!

If you find yourself craving a healthy food like dark, green leafy vegetables it may be because your body is needing some Vitamin A, C, E, K, Iron or Potassium, or any of the many other nutrients provided by vegetables. It’s important to become aware and in tune with what your body needs. Today I have a craving for green vegetables, so I’m having a combo of veggies with olive oil and Himalayan pink salt. Maybe I am craving green because my yoga class this morning focused on Anahata, the Heart Chakra, which is represented by the colour green. I dedicated today’s class to my amazing and beautiful Mum and Sister, as I often do.
