We went to Five Guys Burgers & Fries tonight and it was a huge test for me. There were so many crumbs on the floor, mainly from peanut shells, that tempted me. I tried a few times to lick them up, so heard "leave it" quite a bit. But, overall I did well so I got yummy treats once we left. I was also covered in crumbs so had a good shake outside 😉 🐩👍🏼
The mom and I walked the ranche today and did some hill climbing while the boys skied their last day. It was grey and windy but warm. There was lots to sniff so that made my day.
We hit up the off leash park with my new chuck it this afternoon. You can probably imagine how much I love that thing!! I was such a good girl walking back to the car ignoring the ball while the mom put it right beside me 🐩
Finally warm weather today after snow is melting! Heart is so happy to running at the park.
Hit the gym today. Workin on my fitness 💪✌ The mom was a little anxious about bringing me for the first time today but, as usual, I did awesome. She's pretty happy that @goodlifefitness#cochrane has @lebertfitness#EQualizers but she's not quite ready for box jumps, yet. I ensure she keeps within her rehab parameters 😉
Jay and Oslo just celebrated their two year anniversary together. Oslo, our seizure response dog has changed our lives forever. She has given Jay so much of his independence back and that means the world to us. She has been detecting many of his #seizures and often gives him plenty of warning (which means less concussions!) They are working every day to be more in sync with each other and become a stronger pair. She is his faithful companion and is always by his side. We are so thankful to the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides and to all the generous donors for changing so many lives. For more information about the pair of them and #epilepsy please visit our blog.
Our prize wheel has been way too much fun! Every spin is a win...for you AND a win for someone in need of a Dog Guide. We have had tremendous support from our customers and Adam from head office was a great sport and came in to play. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we will be working hard to reach our goal of $4,000, to provide a hearing ear dog for someone in need. Only $1,500 away from that goal!
Just over 4 weeks to go until the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides! We are so very fortunate to be recipients of a special poodle, Scarlett, an Autism Assistance Dog Guide. The difference she has made to our son's life in just two and a half months is simply amazing. The @lfcdogguides provides dog guides at no cost to people across Canada. This annual walk is the main fundraiser, which we are proud to be a part of. If you would like to help families like ours and the many other people who's lives are made better with a dog guide, please consider making a donation. ❤ The link is in our profile ❤
My presentation was very well and many students were amazed by Heart’s sounds work. My old teachers were so excited to see us today.
Heart’s first time at Fire Departure truck and very brave! And she sits patiently waiting for me when I’m in my friend’s husband’s truck.
Sometimes I lay in odd places. Like behind the sofa, against the wall under the window. 😂🐩❤
Sunday afternoon hugs on the floor ❤🐩🙆♂️
I’m working on my Hearing Dog presentation on my laptop and will visit my old school called ECDrury school for the deaf (that where I’ve graduated from). I’ll be present to many students on next Thursday. Lots of students are so excited to see us!
