She's whom I chose to channel as I was deciding what to name my business over a year ago. And to this day, I haven't posted a full post about her. It scares the shit out of me. It's not her that scares me. It's the fact that there are still big pieces of me that worry about what other people think and how they perceive what it is that I do and believe in. Lilith is an extremely triggering energy. Her story is triggering.
According to legend, Lilith was Adam's first wife in the Garden of Eden. They were both created from the Earth - equal. Lilith was not of Adam. She was of the Earth. And wanted to be treated that way. When it became obvious that she was not going to be treated that way, she rebelled and left the garden. Three angels were sent to try and convince her to come back and when she wouldn't, they killed her offspring and cursed her into darkness forever. Since Lilith obviously wasn't planning to return to the garden anytime soon, Eve was created out of Adam. He had his subservient, obedient wife and could go about his business. Lilith saw what was happening and came back, as the serpent to present Eve with the apple. The intention being to plant the seed within Eve, and within all of us, that we are just as powerful, just as worthy, and just as divine as man.
Obviously, there are many people that this particular energy is not going to sit well with. Which, I think, is exactly why it needs to be talked about. The feminine is rising. Within each of us, whether we like it or not. Lilith is the piece of us that is sick and fucking tired of being repressed and silenced and told what to do and when to do it and how to do it by someone else. Societal pressure and all the should's are a way of the past. And Lilith is here to help wake us up to the bullshit that we've been fed by the patriarchy and everyone else that thinks they know what's best for us. We cannot have the light without the dark. Period. It's physics, y'all. We have to dive into the depths of our anger and resentment and allow ourselves to feel it, otherwise, it's going to bubble over and we'll miss the magic it has to offer. Let’s wake her up 🙏🏼
