So apparently today is #internationalcatday (thanks @wingardiumnerdiosa!), so here is a little spotlight on mine. I know I say this is a yoga account, but let's be honest, the cats are the stars of the show! -) Noodle and Zeppelin are brother and sister 2.5 year old lilac Burmese litter mates
-) As a breed Burmese are known as the dogs of the cat world: they fetch, come to their names, and are very very vocal and social. Ours fit this description perfectly. -) Noodle is the girl. She has orange-brown eyes, is 50% of her brother's size, and is a total daddy's girl. She loves to be held like a baby (particularly by men!), hates us being in the kitchen (and will protest loudly and repeatedly until we leave!), and is the smarter and braver one of the two by far.
-) Zeppelin is the boy. He has green eyes and weighs a whopping 6kg. He is top cat and sits/eats/plays with what he wants when he wants, no matter how much we intervene. I call him my winter cat as come the cold months he will sit on you for as many hours as you are still. In the summer all he wants is to sit out in our garden. He also demands the most attention when I practice yoga - tapping me and rolling over in front of me until I pet him.
-) They are house cats but we have cat-proofed the garden with overhanging netting so they have extra space to roam. They are so so friendly to any and every person they meet that I know they would get scooped up if we let them out out
-) Before we got them we had visions of keeping them off the kitchen counters and our bed. CONTINUED IN THE COMMENTS 👇
