1 year transformation. Left or Right?

Ever told yourself it just wasn’t in the cards for you? That you weren’t worthy enough to achieve your goals or feel good or that your genetics/slow metabolism were to blame?

There were so many days where I wanted to throw in the towel & say fuck it.

I fell off track & messed up a ton.

I binge ate because I restricted so hard. ⠀
I missed workouts. Then I would do two or three workouts in a day.

I talked so negatively to myself & felt like a failure.

But the thing I didn’t do was quit. I got back on track after a “mistake.”

My body has gone thru different shapes & sizes and my mindset has surely changed.

I want to show you not just the “start” & “end” but the points in between because that’s what you need to see.

My journey hasn’t been linear. And guess what? Yours won’t be either.

You will mess up. You will have bad days, bad weeks, hell, maybe a bad month. Cause life happens and you’re a HUMAN! But.. if you get back on track, you legit can’t fuck it up.

If you’re struggling right now, try focusing on:

🔆 doing the daily things right —> work on your habits

🔆 improving mindset & mental strength —> journal, yoga, self awareness, talk with others

🔆 being consistent & patient —> scout stores for patience pants in your size 👖

🔆 the journey, NOT the outcome. enjoy what you do cause it’ll make things a fuck ton more enjoyable

🔆 what you can control (aka not the scale changing or losing __lbs). focus on actions you can control.

Friends - it’s hard fucking work. There’s no other way for me to say it. There’s no “easy way” (or else I would’ve opted for that lol) but I’ll tell ya one thing - if I can freaking do it, YOU CAN TOO.

🍑🥑Alcuni accorgimenti per restare in forma sono abbastanza scontati: mangiare meno e fare attività fisica per perdere peso; dormire di più per sentirsi meno affaticati; bere di più per favorire l’idratazione. Altri invece, sono più insoliti.🍇🍓

🔹Ogni tanto concediti una pausa, quando ritieni che sia necessario. Impara a comprendere quando la stanchezza non ti permette più di andare avanti e quando lo stress influenza negativamente la tua salute fisica.🍎🍌

🔸Prova ad eliminare tutti quegli alimenti che sono completamente trattati e preparati, bevi molta acqua, dai spazio al tè e ai succhi di frutta freschi, cerca di evitare l’uso eccessivo di zucchero e qualche volta concediti pure delle patatine, anche se magari cucinate al forno, invece che fritte.🍟🥓

🔹L’attività fisica è fondamentale. Per rispondere allo stress il nostro corpo produce delle endorfine, delle sostanze che ci aiutano a stare bene. Dedicati con regolarità alla pratica dell’esercizio fisico: corri, pedala, nuota.🥨🧀

🔸Limita il consumo di bevande alcoliche, gassate e zuccherate e bevi molta acqua, soprattutto lontano dai pasti, per favorire la depurazione dell’organismo.🌽🍅

👉🏻Spesso tendiamo a sottovalutare il potere di un’azione che è forse quella più semplice e che più compiamo nel corso della giornata. Si tratta di respirare, concentrati sul tuo respiro e adotta delle tecniche per effettuarlo in modo corretto.🥝🥥😉

TEN THINGS we all need to know about health and fitness

(because there’s so much garbage floating around social media):
1️⃣ You can’t turn fat into muscle. You can LOSE fat and GAIN muscle.

2️⃣ Fat doesn’t make you fat. Neither does carbs. Stop pretending powdered peanut butter or cauliflower rice tastes as good as the real thing🍚.

3️⃣ The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit (which is why these super expensive diet plans are so successful... there’s no special secret, they just keep you in a calorie deficit)
.
4️⃣ I would be lost with out my pre-workout and protein oats... HOWEVER, you do not need supplements to see results
.
5️⃣ LOVE resistance bands, but they’re not gonna grow your glutes on their own. You gotta add the weights in🍑.
.
6️⃣ You can lose all the weight in the world... if you’re not training abs you’re not going to see abs🤷🏼‍♀️
.
7️⃣ Fasted cardio DOES NOT make you burn more fat🙄 it just puts you in more of a deficit
.
8️⃣ Getting a good workout in doesn’t mean you’ve earned a certain meal. You can work out AND eat. Don’t work out TO eat.

9️⃣ There’s no magical “fat burning workout”, its all about consistency
