Lifting is my therapy. Outside of the gym my mind rarely stops racing. I have never-ending thoughts about Raw Alignment... How I can grow the business, how I can best inspire you, and how I can do these two things to my absolute fullest potential. 🙌🏽 Usually these thoughts make me feel inspired and empowered, but oftentimes they also leave me feeling drained of energy and in desperate need of an escape. When I walk into the gym it's just me and the weights. Everything else is brought to a halt. During the hour that I'm lifting I think of nothing other than FORM, pushing, pulling, isolating, contracting, and improving my strength; both mental and physical. When I'm in the gym that's my ME time. I put my phone on 'Do Not Disturb'. I don't workout or talk with other people. I block out everything so I can fully escape. Just for 60 minutes. Then I take out my headphones, walk out of the gym, and carry on with being the best version of myself in every other aspect of life. 💪🏽 » What do you do to empower yourself?
