I might even go up to 3k daily soon so it will be Wednesday every day 😎 Today’s brekkie isn't the prettiest bowl of overnight oats I've made but it's packed full of fuel for my heaviest workout day of the week. Banana 🍌 overnight oats made skimmed milk, French Vanilla Whey from @theproteinworks, fresh berries, 3 crumbled up apricot and seeds energy balls @gofasterfood, a drizzle of PB mixed from powder from @trunutbutter and a sprinkling of cinnamon. Shoulders are one of my favourite muscle groups to train. Having well rounded and developed shoulders helps with the aesthetic V-shape that is sort after

But more importantly to me is the fact that developing all three muscles in the shoulder helps to improve posture and lessen the chances of injury to the rotator cuff

Not killing myself on my first real week back because that never works out. Just slowly easing back into volume and building up some work capacity. Long game 👌🏻 beltless squats, last set of 4x6, worked up to 240#/109kg @ rpe my lungs hurt (lifted in freedom units today since all the big boys were at the gym at the same time and we ran out of reds 🙄). Paused beltless deadlifts after this. No where to go but up from here 📈 @shane_drozdzak

Brutal chest and arm day, went heavy on the bench which is an amazing feeling watching my maxes going up. Killed some 21’s for bi’s and even incorporated a super set in there. The pump today was unreal and I am dead, night guys😭

Always beyond thankful to be able to run🏃🏻‍♀️ After feeling very stressed out because of midterm week, I knew I needed to let my mind wander and do it’s thing without focusing on anything. I get a lot of questions on how I became a runner and to be honest I’m not the most athletic person when it comes to sports involving equipment like sticks or balls, so I resorted to running in high school. I’ve realized you don’t have to be a good runner to be able to run. When I started running, I couldn’t run around the block once without stopping in between and feeling so winded. But with determination and drive, I wanted to get better for myself. I wanted to prove that I was capable at getting better at something I put my mind to. If you were to ask my younger self if I thought I could run 2 half marathons and 1 full marathon by the end of senior year, I would think you’re CRAAZZYYY!!! Moral of the story is, if you think you can’t run for 5 straight miles, you’re wrong. I guarantee if you put your mind to it, you’ll surprise yourself. With consistency and a strong work ethic, you can achieve anything you put your mind to, I promise ✨🙌🏻

Life gets pretty crazy, from homework, to parties, to work, whatever it may be we tend to forget about ourselves. We focus so much on making others happy we forget that we too have a right to be happy. It doesn’t matter how you view self care as long as you do it. I had a choice yesterday go to the gym or go for a hike with my best friend. I chose the hike, not only did we get amazing pictures (like this one) but I realized that what I felt after straight talking for 4 hours was a more self accomplished and stress reliever then working out ever is. Don’t get me wrong nothing puts me in a better mood then a killer sweat sesh. But this was different a sense of breath left my body that I didn’t know I was holding in. Remember that self care is so important, remember that it’s not selfish and everyone needs to do it. Take a peak at my blog post, I added a little piece that I wrote a long time about. It’s small but shows how meaningful something like a hug can really be to someone💜🧘‍♀️
