A message from @helms3dmj : For anyone who has struggled to take all the concepts of nutrition that are out there, and put them into action, i created it for you.
The core structure is a series of short videos where I discuss the basic theory from the perspective of implementation, ending with videos on troubleshooting (with the help of @omarisuf ) and resources. All beautifully shot by @aousphoto .
In addition, the system comes with an excel spreadsheet that by simply entering your basic stats, and personal preferences, sets up your initial target calories, macros, fiber, fruit and vegetable targets and gives you education on supplements and appropriate doses for your body weight. More importantly based on how your body weight progresses (or doesn’t progress) towards your goal (either fat loss or muscle gain), it will adjust your nutrition over time. @bryce_tsa the excel master made this thing spectacular!
Unsure of how to translate macros or calories into actual foods? No worries, I go over a sample meal plan of how to set up the skeleton of a diet that you can build off of in the video series, and we also brought in the @team3dmj Registered Dietitian @stevetaylorrd to write higher and lower fat sample meal plans for men, and women, for both gaining and cutting for a total of 8! They have swappable meal options, allotments for discretionary calories, fluid guidelines and more.
We emphasised outcomes and minimised barriers to action with this system. If you’ve struggled to understand how to implement refeeds, diet breaks, rates of weight loss or gain or if you struggle with macros and do better with protein and calories as your targets, this system is built for you.
