I couldn't agree more!
So, I've finally come to the conclusion that I need to start sorting out my life a bit better. For the last 8 months, I've had an incredible social/travel life, but since I've got into a serious relationship, my priorities are starting to shift.
1) Lose weight. In 2017, with my new, less active jobs and getting comfortable in the wrong situations, I ended up putting on weight. Luckily, my exercise routine has saved me from getting "fat", but it's time to be stricter with myself and get back to a size 10/12. This means cutting back on meals out and managing my meals better in the day as my metabolism has shifted to being hot in the morning.
2) Save money. I am happy with what I have achieved, done and what I have booked, but my priorities are shifting from extraneous activities and outings to saving money to buy a property next year (all being well). My salary is quite stretched and so it'll have to be little by little. A new bank account has been opened for my partner and I to pay into.
3) Complete masters. I'm one assignment off finishing first year and I can't wait to be done!
4) Rest more. In conjunction with number one, I've been a busy bee for the last year or so. Which is great! But it's also taking a toll on me in the sense I'm tired and sometimes, you need a break. So, I'm prioritising me time and limiting new outings to 1-2x a week max. I love to meet up with friends but I need to learn I can't cram 3-4 meet ups in one week 😂
