One of the most heartbreaking things we done while we was travelling was visiting Phnom Penh and the Genocidal History Museums.
We were blessed to have bumped into the last 2 remaining live survivors of S21 and heard their story from their mouths.
One man told us about his wifes Murder and it broke our heart.
This experience changed our outlook on everything.
For the first time in our life we took an interest in the Politics of our own country, and when we returned home we Voted for the first time. It chanaged the way we aknowledge people and made us more humble and grateful for the oppertunities and way of life we have been lucky enough to be born into!
We all complain about The UK, but it has granted us with freedom, education, NHS, the ability to seek financial help and many more things we take for granted.
This experience has touched my heart forever and i will never forget this emotional few days 💔❤ What is the biggest lesson you have learnt whist travelling?
