Good morning Sunday!! Have received few DM for asking the recipe of the honey lemon chicken after I posted on IG story. Thus, decided to share it here. I'm sorry that unable to share the recipes regularly after back to full-time work. But I promise will try my best continuing post the recipe whenever I'm free.
I love to cook and bake. Not only that, I love to share the food I prep with friends and family. When I was a little girl I loved to spend hours in the kitchen with my grandma, making a mess but learning delicious Chinese cuisine, nyonya kuih (especially dumplings) using authentic, seasonal, fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch. And we will share the foods with our neighbors. Yes, it's kampong spirit!
I would say cooking and baking is not my job, but my life-long passion. I like to prep simple and healthy food. So most of the recipes are less oil, low in sodium and sugar (only for baking). Hope you enjoy my little sharing and again, thanks for following my recipes. Appreciate!! Here you go for the Ingredients and instructions of Honey and lemon chicken thigh:
1. Marinade 200gm boneless and skinless chicken thigh with 1 tablespoon #tesco brand honey, 2 tablespoons salt-free seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and a pinch of black pepper for at least 2 hrs (or overnight) in refrigerator.
2. Add 1 tablespoon unsalted butter into a large skillet over medium heat. Pan fry each side of the chicken thigh for about 8mins or golden brown. Done and enjoy!! It's perfect to serve with mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, or even corn on the cob!
