In 5 - 7 years when someone talks about essential oil, they’ll just say doTERRA. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just like we do with Kleenex, Colgate or Always ( not so healthy brands) .
“Hey ... do you have any doterra in your bag? I have _______ (insert literally any issue here)” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Hey Alexa ... send me a bottle of peppermint essential oil.” And she’ll say, “Sure. Would you like the 25% off one that comes with community, support and resources? Or the retail price?”
Here’s why my prediction will come true:
👉🏻 CONSCIOUS BUYING: now more than ever, consumers care about the story behind the brand. And they care about the level of health, the integrity and the attitude of the person they are learning from. This doesn’t matter to all of you, but some of you.
👉🏻 TRANSPARENCY: the gas station/craft store/mall isn’t being up front with you about what’s actually in that bottle they’re labeling 100% pure/natural blah blah. And they aren’t telling you about how they got that bottle of frankincense to be $10. Or why the oil you just bought from them isn’t working the way you had hoped. Or what the story of the growers and whether middle men were involved. And it bugs you. Not all of you , but some of you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻 COMMUNITY: in only 10 years time, there are over 6 million people around the world using doterra as their healthcare. And that largely represents only the 1% ... the early adopters. It’s now moving out of the niche and into the mainstream. And community + connection is what will be the biggest buying influence in 5 years because we will be even more starved for it than we are now.
Not for all you, but for most of you.
