BEAUTIFUL morning skies to kick-start our week! .

Kasauli has changed. There are roads I do not recognise. The Tibetan market is now not so anymore, critically endangering the traditional dumpling (what we fondly call a momo) stalls. Trendy restaurants have cropped up. Life is faster.
That being said, the more things change, the more in fact they don't. There is no way I could miss quoting my favourite writer - the Kasauli born Ruskin Bond who says,"The world keeps on changing, but there is always something, somewhere, that remains the same." The tall Deodars still sway with the wind, as if trying to approach you to share an age old tale. Young people in crisp, white uniforms still walk back from school everyday, as though mimicking pigeons who flutter around in groups. The Kasauli Club and the Vaccine Research Institute are still landmarks. People still have glimmering, innocent eyes and days are simple. Writers like Navtej Singh Sarna still weave stories set in this small, hilly town. The toy train from Kalka to Shimla still stops at Dharampur for the Kasauli headed passengers to alight and proceed with their journey further. When Kasauli beckons, one must still tirelessly cover those miles before one arrives.

This afternoon, I would like to challenge you answer this question honestly: ‘What scares you the most?’ Sometimes, a big life change can result in massive inflows of creativity and inspiration, other times it can simply come from a conversation or walk in the park. What is important is that we are in tune with our deepest desires, our likes and loves, and what we want to gain from life!

How else will we recognise the creative inspiration when it appears!?

This big guy wanted to hitch a ride... but Alas!! My car was too small for him..
