Sunday was quite a day.
I’ve felt like a new woman ever since.
I may have been dragged into it (@thechocolatecaptain 🙌🏼), but I walked out skipping.
Sunday, I went and bought new pants. 🤗
The shorts I should have had all summer... The white pants I’ve been dreaming of for a good couple years... A slim fit pair of jeans. .....
Buying new clothes may be normal for some people, but this girl hasn’t done some major closet cleansing in while & y’all... it was time.
I’ve alwayyyyssss been self conscious of my thighs & hips... and how clothes fit on me. My sister was blessed with the good legs, & through all my programs I’ve been trying to do some major catching up to her.
This year has been pretty amazing for me, my health & my physical transformations.
Am I seeing a difference in my thighs? Um, YES.
Am I watching my muffin top disappear (slowly but surely, baby steps!)... but YES.
Am I seeing a difference in how my clothes look and feel?! HELL YES.
But not only that...
I felt confident enough to go try on pants 👖 & strut my stuff in front of the entire world (aka everyone last minute back-2-school shopping)
I’ve been wearing [ahem, WEARING OUT] a pair of jeans that I’ve been holding onto since ... high school.
They’re stretchy (although im pretty sure the elastic is gone-zo) but, they fit...ish.
Ok so they looked like pedal pushers.
And the button was holding on for dear life.
So it was a big day.
Probably marking it down in the history books. .
And guess what?
I threw away those old jeans #retirethejeans 🙀& im PUMPED to show off my new ones (my leggings might be fighting with me but it’s ok!)
