Be Kind to Yourself
Our principal solicitor, Rebekah, often tells her clients “not to forget to be kind to yourself”. One way of showing this is through fuelling your body with nutrients that not only make you feel good physically, but mood boosting foods that help with mental wellbeing also.
As our team were treated to a healthy breakfast this morning of banana protein pancakes with organic vanilla yoghurt and fresh mixed berries, I thought about the ‘why’ behind why our staff should start the day with this meal. Then I realised, it contains: protein, fibre, iron, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, calcium, vitamin B6, and many more nutrients to kick start their busy day ahead.
Other foods that will help keep the waistline down & the mood up are things such as: nuts, beans, grains, fruit, salmon, vegetables & fermented foods such as kombucha- also a favourite in our office.
So by being kind to yourself and providing your body with the right fuel, you will find you have a happier healthier, view of yourself and the world around you!
