You guys, PLEASE read this.
A few months ago in September I posted about my two friends @mackowal and @misheleder lost their baby to a drunk driver. The driver hit the stroller, leaving it in pieces and tried to flee the scene but other drivers used their cars to stop her. If you tuned into my Live session last week I took you with me to their gym @systemstrainingcenter where Marcus talked about what had happened, about #LiamsChallenge and then showed me and the ones of you watching how to do these kicks and some self defense moves. But what's important here isn't just the challenge but it's purpose. The purpose is for you and all the people around you to sign the petition against drunk driving. If you watched the news this holidays you saw both children and parents lost their lives to drunk driving and it keeps happening everyday. And we all think this could never happen to us personally so you think maybe to yourself that this is sad, but then you keep scrolling down your feed or switch the channel and do nothing. Marcus and Mishel did not expect in a million years that they were going to lose their 15 month old baby Liam. But here they are today trying to raise awareness so it doesn't happen to your child or someone you love, as well as donated Liam's organs to another child who needed it. That is selflessness and love in the darkest hours. So please, sign the petition, www.LiamsLife.org- and help spread the word. If you don't want to do the kicks then just share about the petition, anything you can do to make a difference. Imagine everything we could accomplish if we stopped seeing ourselves as insignificant. If we stopped using the sentence "but I'm only one person, it's not going to do a difference". Yes yes yes it will. Everything you believe in, everything you stand for- you make a difference. Love you all, thank you for reading. ❤ #liamschallenge #rememberliam #DontDrinkandDrive #donatelife
