It made my day to meet the right person. On flight, I happened to sit beside a 50ies year old Iranian who has been living in New Jersey, US for 40 years. He was on his way back to Iran to visit his ill sister.
A soft-spoken, calm guy who is likely not into gadgets. He did not know how to operate the #LH401 #lufthansa #inflight entertainment system, which I also found rather complicated compared to other flights I have been to.
I made a good guess that he might be a devout moslem. We seperated by greeting goodbyes to each other. When I expressed my sympathy hoping that his sister recovered, he responded with a subtle smile and said “Thank you.” By the nuance, I sensed that his sister might have been very sick.
The bottomline is that we can come across good people with humility anytime anywhere, who can make ourselves feel better along the way. And surely, likewise, we can do too the badasses.
Then, just be the kind one!
