Listen- I don't train for the body. At this point I know it's just a bonus. I train to shock myself (so I can say damn I did that) and also to stay in GREAT health.
Most have no idea of the physical capabilities they have. You can change your body no matter where you are starting from. More importantly, you can change your mind building mental toughness through regular exercise challenging yourself a little bit more each session. Just a single step in the right direction is progress.
I watched a video of me doing squats when I first started working out from like 4 yrs ago the other day 🙊 It would probably be comical to most. Lol But you know what I thought while viewing it?! WOW I thought I was killing it. Weights to heavy, squats to shallow but in my head I was really getting down.😂 Didn't know any better. The key is the determination I had to get better and do it over and over in my mind knowing that you only improve through practice/repetition. Can't do push ups? Do them everyday and watch how serious your push up game gets💪 That proudness you feel once you are cranking em out like its nothing will be like nothing else you've felt and the time invested will not matter to you. That goes for any exercise - shoot ANYTHiNG!!!!! I could not do 2 pushups good when I first tried. Now over 20 in a row. My squat 1RM is abt 265. Yes looking "fit" feels good but being able to do physical shit at 35 is truly being fit in my book! You can too. I believe there is greatness in EVERYONE.
