I feel like a broken record at the moment, but I'm going to say it one more time for the folks in the back.
👏🏼 Confused. 👏🏿 Customers. 👏🏻 Always. 👏🏾 Say. 👏🏽 NO. 👏🏻
Confused customers always say no, friends. They say no.
If they want to get in touch with you, but don't know how - you'll lose 'em.
If they're ready to buy from you, but don't know where to click - you'll lose 'em.
If they've got a question, but don't know how to contact you - guess, what? You'll lose 'em.
Put yourself in your buyer's shoes: There is nothing more frustrating than trying to give someone your money, and not being able to to do it. Let's not make parting with $$$ any more painful than it needs to be.
Instead, make your sales process so crystal f*cking clear that your customers breeze through, and afterwards go "Ahh, wasn't that nice..." and think they're on holiday 🏖
With clear and concise instructions:
✅Tell your customer what to do at every stage. eg. "Click here to pick your appointment time" or "Enter your card details here"
✅Start your instruction phrases with imperative verbs like Click, Do, Go, Enter, Sign, Buy, Book - don't hide them at the end. Eg. "Book your package now"
✅Manage their expectations on what should happen next, and give options for what to do if something goes wrong. Eg. "You'll get an email confirmation within 15 mins. If nothing comes through, check your spam or drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org (yup give 'em a contact)
✅Be concise AF. Short sentences are your friend. Use 'em. Trust me. They work.
