Opening the book for day 6th of Mobility May
When it comes to opening the book, your back, shoulders, chest and thoracic spine. Get a nice stretch in, this will get you ready for a nice chest day. While maintaining a stable lumbar is one of the major keys to this exercise. We want to eliminate the lumbar involvement and only want to work above by the thorasic for this exercise.
You want to lay on your side and have your legs either at a 90 degrees. Or get that foam roller and put it under the top leg that is bent at 90 degrees. Its similar to my previous video set up. Go check it out after this. Then both arms will be straight in front of you. Your top arm will rise up and across over to the other side. Keep the lower back and legs stationary the entire time. Try and touch the floor with your hand, if not go as far as you can. Rep scheme will be 3x10 and take it slow once again, really push yourself on this one.
