Sesame Seitan Pasta Salad by @plantbasedblonde 💜
16 oz pasta twists⠀
8 oz package of seitan⠀
8 oz can water chestnuts drained and rinsed⠀
1 1/2 cups frozen peas⠀
6-8 scallions sliced diagonally⠀
1/4 cup sesame seeds⠀
pink salt & pepper to taste⠀

4 tablespoons dry sherry⠀
3 tablespoons lemon juice⠀
2 tablespoons dijon mustard⠀
2 tablespoons soy sauce⠀
3 tablespoons coconut sugar⠀
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger⠀
1/2 cup avocado oil⠀

Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and rinse under cold water.⠀
While pasta is cooking prepare the dressing by simply whisking together all ingredients or combing in a blender or food processor⠀
In a large bowl, gently toss the pasta with with setian if using, peas, scallions, water chestnuts and sesame seeds.⠀
Pour the dressing over the pasta and toss well. Cover and place in the refrigerator.⠀
Best served cold after marinating in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours or overnight.⠀

Throwback to this animal style cauliflower burger with mermaid rice buns. has anybody tried making a burger with rice buns. its pretty easy, just use large mason jar lids or cookie cutters to shape the buns after you cook your rice accordingly. Give it a try, its a new way to switch things up a bit. I naturally color my food with powders from @rawnice

nothing i post on my page will ever be artificial. anybody can go and grab some food coloring but did you know there are carcinogens known to cause hyperactivity in children, increase asthma or in some cases cause cancer in rats? So please think twice before you trust some greedy corporation with your family’s health just because its on the store shelves doesn’t mean it’s good for you. use my simple rule of thumb with food, does it have more than 5 ingredients and if so do you know what they are? can you pronounce them? If you can’t, put that shit down and buy something else ✌🏼

Mealprep done right 👌 This (or even more messy) is what my breakies look like atm 🙈 Most of the time I eat my breakfast at work and take some kind of overnight porridge with different fruits and some granola/nuts with me 😋 It‘s great to always have some healthy food on the go -> Who else does mealprep for the next day or even the week? Vanilla overnight oats w/ crunchy poppyseed-apple granola, cashews, juicy mango and pomegranate seeds 🤗

I hope it's not to late to join the chocolate #🍫party, organised by two great ladies @elavegan and @fitness_bianca. I saw already the winners announcement but I still would like to participate🙌🙌🙌🙌🐭🐭🐭. I made for the party chestnut chocolate dessert with raspberries 🍫🍫🍫🍇🍇🍇
So if you want to remake it here is the recipe:
250 g chestnuts
50 g xylit
1 tsp vanilla powder
4 tsp raw cocoa powder
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp organic, powdered orange zest
Cut slightly the skin of the chestnuts, make like a cross and soak them in water for about 10min. Then put them to the oven for 20min at 200 degree. Cool them down and remove the soft nuts out ot the skin. Then cook them with some water and xylit for about 30min. Blend when the nuts became soft and add vanilla, orange zest, salt and cocoa powder. You should achive a thick mas. Use for desserts with fruits or like a spread for muffins or bread.Enjoy!

When your home is filled with the scent of freshly baked cinnamon bread it's impossible to ignore! 🙈 The dough recipe was made using @ohsheglows cinnamon rolls recipe, and the filling combines coconut sugar, coconut butter and cinnamon. .

Getting all fancy with my oats with morning!!! Have you ever tried olive oil caramelized strawberries before? Because if you haven’t your totally missing out! They get all gooey and sweet and delicious!! I paired them with my coconut vainilla porridge and OMG its so gooooooood! To make this: 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup coconut milk (i used @plenishcleanse ), 1 tbsp shredded coconut, 1 tsp vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp vainilla powder. Add everything to small sauce pan and simmer for 10-15 mins or until the oats are all the way cooked. For the strawberries, add 1/2 tbsp olive oil to a non-stick pan. Heat the oil on medium-high, once its hot, add a few halved strawberries and cook until the are browned and delicious! Add everything to a bowl, top with coconut sugar and enjoy!

I used to think that mindfulness was just a buzz word, but with new scientific evidences showing that practicing mindfulness can change brain chemistry (for the better!) and my own attempts at practicing mindfulness has been amazing. In today’s world we are so inundated with information, thoughts and feelings especially concerning the past and future but we are not fully aware about what we are doing, thinking or speaking in the present. For me mindfulness means being present with my ears and heart. In terms of food it also means making choices about food that has the best health benefits and less environmental impact. Mindfulness is a practice and I am always learning. It's Wednesday 🌟🌟🌟 And this Wednesday is about to get even better!! Below you find the recipe on my TTBB (Thess toasted bliss balls)!
2 dl toasted buckwheat groats, 1 dl toasted sesame seeds, 1 dl gluten free oats, 1 dl coconut flakes, 1 dl cacao, a pinch of sea salt, five pinches of cinnamon, about 10 fresh dates, a tiny bit of cold pressed coconut oil and oat milk/almond milk/coconut milk/your choice of any plant based milk. Or water works just as fine!
Start with mixing the buckwheat (use dried, whole buckwheat and rinse in boiling water before draining and toasting in a hot, dry frying pan until golden and crisp), add the rest of the dry ingredients and mix until a powder-like consistency. Add pitted dates (use more for a sweeter taste, fewer for a less sweet bliss ball. Then you just have to use more plant milk instead!) and oil, pulse a few times. Add the plant milk until the right consistency. You may have to add a bit more cacao/salt/cinnamon to fit your preference, or more oats to get the right consistency. Mix until you feel happy - and you've had the chance to taste the batter enough times (important part!!). Form in to balls and roll in toasted finely chopped hazelnuts or toasted, mixed coconut flakes (or in cacao powder, or sesame seeds, or shredded coconut, or any super powder...you get the picture - roll in whatever you like and whatever yummy things you have at home!). Store in the freezer or fridge.
