People who know me well know that I'm the kind that fight all the time.
The thing is, I really hate when people or things are unfair or just not right.
I've been struggling with this my whole life.
Fighting for Justice & Fairness...at school, at work, all the time & everywhere..
(Not so surprised why I went to Law School 😜⚖️🎓..)
Injustice & unfairness can make me really mad & sad at the same time.
And many times, things turned out against me and at the end, it got even worse.
I lost some people & friends in the battle.
So, I got tired of it.
Fighting is exhausting.
And actually I came from Law to Yoga to find Peace! (Ha! 😇)
That's why I realized that I had to work on this side of me.
I'm still working on that & I still have this impulsive excessive fighter spirit but here is my lesson:
Sometimes Life is unfair and there is nothing you can do about it, you can't control it ,or change it!
This is Life, Shit happens!
Well, You can still believe in Karma..
it will quiet and ease your mind on a short term, but not sure it will give you peace of mind on a long term perspective.
So just let it go and move on.
Be selective in your battles.
Peace of mind is better than being right!
Instead of fighting, set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it. 🙏🏼✨
