Seriously, people who claim that visibility of LGBT these days is some sort of trend - do they realize how stupid it sounds? It seems these people really don't get it what it was like to be a queer just decades ago. No it's not a trend. It's a simple fact that when people feel safer about their sexuality, they've become more open about it. That's why Pride month is so important - to remind of our existence, to remind that it's OK to be gay. And honestly, society needs to be constantly reminded about it.
