Black Acid, Lambic /Traditional 8.5% Lervig Stavanger Norway in collaboration with Brouwerij Oud Breesel, Breesel Vlaams-Brabant Belgium.
Marked as a Lambic on untappd but.. in this case there is oren than meets the eye reading that. Cause this Black Acid collaboration from Lervig and Oud Breesel is actualy a blend of a Lambic (from Oud Beersel) and a Stout (from Lervig) and is has aged on the Scandanavia populair liquor "Aquavit"
The Stout gives the beer it's dark color, but.. come near the glass and you will already smell the funk of the lambic. Also in flavor you first taste the lambic with it's sour tart flavors. You should not drink it to cold cause than the lambic peaks mostly (even when chilled) but warm it up and you taste the full package. The beer gets more in balance than and you taste more of the stout flavors, which is quite a intresting combo i must say. The salty, liquorice notes of the stout fill the flavor of the lambic than. From the Aquavit i didn't taste to much though, maybe a bit as side note... but not to much.
Quite intresting experiment this beer i must say, but due to the powerful Lambic sours also one that will be not for everybody.
But.. if you like both lambic and stout beers one you should give a try if you spot it.
