3 common mistakes I see people doing on the leg press machine.

1 - Heels. However deep you go down, you should always keep your heels on the platform. If you lack range of motion where you can't get any deeper without coming up on your toes, then that's just as far as you go. As you push, make sure you're pushing through your heels (or equally through the feet, not the toes!) 2 - Bum lifting off the seat. As you bend your legs in towards you, it's important to focus on keeping your hips pushing down into the seat, preventing a curve in your lumbar, which whilst lifting a heavy weight is not a good idea!
3 - Tensing your head/neck forwards throughout the exercise. Consider your neck actually being an extension to your spine, so try to keep your head closer in line with your shoulders and trunk.

Leg press is definitely my favourite exercise, i like to go heavy on it and i always include it in my leg sessions . 💪But remember to warm up with lighter weights to prevent injuries. And don't lock your knees!! Top and leggings: @v3apparel and @v3women check them out! -
