Check out this mutation I got goin on with one of my girls. It's so crazy in person...much more dramatic looking than in the pictures. Just to help give some perspective this is the top part of a 6 ft tall plant and the part of the stalk in the pictures measures 2 inches wide while only being a quarter inch thick. Hold up 3 fingers togethor and that's probably pretty close to how wide it is!! And another trippy thing about it is that there is no node spacing...at least not in the traditional way. The bud sites appear to just come in whetever they please at random. In the last 2 photos you can see groups of bud sites. There's one spot that I counted 9 BUD SITES!!! HAHA. It's so crazy. That's gonna be very worrisome for bud rot though I suspect. I looked this mutation up and it's called fasciation. And it can be a bad thing if the flowers exhibit the same growth mutation because they come in super wierd I guess. But that's not always the case so fingers crossed. Anyone who's experienced this phenomenon and has any advice for me going forward I would love to hear it. Or just any comments at all are welcome. Or if you know someone who might be more familiar with this I'd appreciate it if you tagged em for me so that they can drop any knowledge or advice they may have. Thanks everyone and keep it redeyed and irie!
