Part of the homework we're doing for #FiberBossCollege is doing brand archetype discovery.
I came up as a Sage, with a side of Creator on the Cerries Mooney test.
Even my tea from last night knows it! Why have I been reluctant to accept it!
I've not really wrapped my head around it until quite recently.
Looking back through a lot of my history is making more sense than it ever has.
I have always loved learning. I was considered an odd duck, because I actually liked school. Most of my contemporaries thought that a mighty strange attitude, so I was always considered "weird".
When I chose Elementary Education as my major, I thought I would like to pass on the experiences I had and be a great teacher.
It was not to be, but that's part of another story.
We're practicing storytelling as part of our FiberBoss homework, as well.
My need to pass on knowledge does still exist and I think that's why I started writing patterns and teaching at my local yarn shop.
My need to continue learning is also still in place. That may also be why I signed up for #swatchstudio and #fiberbosscollege as well.
I'm also about to sign up for Joeli Kelly's #learntotechedit Master Class. I mentioned it to someone saying that I was "a glutton for punishment". Her response was that instead, "I was a sponge for learning!" I guess I am!
Now how to continue with my "Sageness" and embrace it! And how I'll deal with it only time will tell.
I'm going to use Chelsea's classes to explore my brand identity. I hope you will follow me on my road to discovery with the help from @knitfitch and my yet to be discovered tribe. ✨
How did I do, Chelsea? ✨
